During the late hours in Gaziantep, the cockpit crews of two passenger planes spotted an unidentified object at an altitude of approximately 9,000 feet (2,743 meters). Swiftly, the pilots reported the incident to the Gaziantep Air Traffic Control Tower, which subsequently confirmed the presence of the unidentified object.

Flight Operations Halted and Diversions to Alternative Airports
Following the reported sighting, flight operations at Gaziantep Airport came to a standstill. Several aircraft scheduled to land at Gaziantep Airport were diverted to nearby Adana and Şanlıurfa Airports. As a result, a total of 26 flights, comprising 13 departures and 13 arrivals since the incident, have been canceled.
