The Incident
Late on Friday night, a shooting occurred at a home in Cleveland, Texas. San Jacinto County Sheriff’s office received a call about harassment in the area around 11:31 p.m. local time. However, when officials arrived at the scene, they discovered that several victims had been shot.

The Victims
The victims have been identified as all being from Honduras, but their relationship to the suspect is currently unknown. The police did not disclose their identities.
According to authorities, the youngest victim was an eight-year-old child. Two female victims were found on top of two surviving children.
Fatalities
The shooting left five people dead. Four of the victims were declared dead at the scene, while the fifth victim died after being taken to the hospital.
Suspect
The suspect is described as a Mexican man who was intoxicated and armed. He is currently on the run, and the police are still looking for him.
Response
The Cleveland Police Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The San Jacinto County Sheriff’s office also could not be reached for comment.
