Introduction
An Uber driver in Las Vegas named Partridge was recently attacked by a group of passengers. Partridge operates as an Uber XL driver, meaning she can transport up to six passengers in her van. The incident was caught on camera, as she had a video camera installed in her van.
Limitation of Passengers
Partridge was approached by a group of seven women who wanted to take a ride in her van. She informed them that only six passengers were allowed in the vehicle, as per the law. However, the women refused to comply and pleaded with Partridge until she finally relented.
Attack and Theft
Unfortunately, things took a violent turn once they reached the women’s destination. One of the passengers sitting in the front seat splashed a drink in Partridge’s face, after which the rest of the passengers began to beat her up. The attack lasted for about 30 seconds, but it felt much longer to Partridge. She tried to protect herself from the assault, but the beating became too severe, and she thought she was going to die.

After the women left, Partridge realized that her phone and tip jar were stolen. She also suffered injuries from the attack, and she was scared for her life. Partridge called 911 as soon as she returned home, and she gave the police all the necessary details. She also contacted Uber, who sent her a follow-up message requesting her to upload any photos or videos from the incident.
Investigation and Follow-up by Uber
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has opened an investigation into the incident, and they will be in touch with Partridge soon. Uber officials have also promised to cover all the expenses for repairing Partridge’s van and to add $5,000 to her Uber account.
